"Every word, sound, note, and image in my first album, “Drivin’ Myself Wild For You”, was the most complete artistic endeavor I had ever done. It all started with me trying to see if I could write a song. I did- and then I wrote more than 10 within the year. Half way through, I entered a songwriting contest with the Philadelphia Songwriters Project. I was one of the winners with my song, “Cryin’”. In 2010, I wrote a few more songs and began my first serious recording project with Glen Barratt at Morning Star Studios.
Together, we gathered some of the top musicians in Philadelphia, and translated my musical melody pictures into a full band. It felt like a magic carpet ride. I think it was, actually.
The songs in this collection are both true and not true, but all are true to my soul. Come along with me, I’m driving myself wild for you!

PS- Ironically, I didn’t include the song “Cryin’” on my first CD. At the time, I thought it was just too sad to put on my first CD. So, I ended up having the courage to put it on my second CD, and won another songwriting award with it! Maybe that was meant to be?"

Now I teach at the legendary Settlement Music School, and adore the unique styles of Django, Charlie Byrd, ‘20s & ‘30s Jazz, French, Latin, and Swing.
